The homeowners of this 91-year-old residence called Ram Jack West for an estimate after noticing sloping floors. The homeowners estimated that their home was 8 inches out of level and wanted to know what they could about it before things got worse. The home is comprised of a conventionally reinforced slab on grade. After evaluation, a Ram Jack West foundation specialist and an engineer determined it was -4 1/4 inches down, from the front to the back of the house.

Ram Jack West installed seventeen (17) helical piles and injected polyurethane foam to lift the slab. The crew successfully lifted the house up and recovered nearly 3 inches of settlement. The crew was able to complete the job in only 6 days. Overall, this project was a huge success and the homeowners can now relax in their home without worrying about future settlement issues.
