Ram Jack provided a comprehensive structural inspection for an existing retaining wall in Eugene, Oregon. After inspection, it was determined that some parts of the wall had rotated with respect to the other areas of the structure.
Ram Jack West designed the helical pile tie-backs for the proposed retaining wall replacement. We installed 16 2-7/8” diameter helical tie-back piles along the existing and sistered retaining walls. We also installed 24 steel beams and pressure-treated wood lagging.
The purpose of the repair is to stabilize portions of the retaining wall that had failed and deteriorated. This partial foundation repair is designed to resist applied soil loads in the future.
